Bitmain’s hydro-cooled flagship. 480 TH/s at 12 J/TH is the efficiency frontier for SHA-256 in 2026. Requires a closed-loop liquid cooling infrastructure (heat exchanger, manifold, coolant) which is sold separately and adds $2,000–$5,000 to the install depending on scale.
Practical: only economic at scale (10+ units) or when electricity is exceptionally cheap (sub-$0.05/kWh). For first-time buyers we generally recommend the air-cooled S21 XP unless you have a specific reason to deploy hydro.
